The Package is around 45 minutes from my house but the estimated delivery date is for Monday.

Monday it is. They want extra $$$ for Saturday delivery. Odds are you won't be able to pick it up either. I've tried several times in the past. Both times I knew I wasn't going to be home to accept the package. They always feed me the line that they have an obligation to the shipper that UPS must attempt at least ONE delivery before they will let you pick it up from the hub.

well that sucks.

The package is like a few minutes away and I know exactly where they are located.

I wish I could go pick it up tomorrow, but from what you all said I can't.

A vendor or shipper could have it delivered to the local station so you can go pick it up. I know...too late. At least I know Fed Ex has that option.

Imagine that. A government entity that provides shipping to your door step 6 days out of the week, gets it there quickly, and doesn't rip you off.
