if so, what software do u use for like... video conferencing (and stuff)? my friend used netmeeting, but i was wondering what else is out there that i can use.

I think I currently just has a computer and a server and an email server that run 24/7 but no digital camera nor scanner nor webcam...

is there any free software that will let me like take snapshots and make video clips? my friend has an intel easy pc webcam (or something like that), but the software cd that came with the webcam is only good for win98. i have a kodak webcam, and i was able to download the xp software for my webcam free of charge. intel does not offer a free download of their software do u think the software for my kodak webcam will work for my friend's intel webcam?

I have one, but I use it very rarely. I got a Logitech Quickcam Express a couple of years ago for free. As for software, I just use the software that came with it. It's all right. Lets me take stills and record movies.

yeah my friend has the software that came with her intel webcam too, but its only good for win98. she is running win2000 now, and intel's website does not offer a free download. they want $6 for it... yes SIX BUX!!! R THEY NUTS?!

Nope, although I might get one....that is, unless its possible to hook up a digital camcorder and use that.
