Does tv out show up on boot?

Or do you have to switch via drivers? I was wondering if I could do a OS install from just a the TV out. Thanks.
 
For the Radeon cards that's a Yes. Boot output is cloned to any monitor that has been detected by the VGA BIOS - including the TV.
 
Well maybe it IS out of sync. What region of the world are you in, and is your graphics card made to output the right TV standard?
