Yes

"I believe in god,"he says. "I was brought up going to Sunday school and church, but it didn't really mean anything. Things upset me a lot. It was just a theme I kept coming back to-religion, guilt and doubting. I believe there's a god but I'm not too sure of his relevance."

Listening to his music I would says "yes", but not in a conventional/Christian sense.

I really care whether you care or not! Really, it matters a lot to me and infact I would have missed it if you hadn't posted in this thread at all!

Or...

AFAIK, the Topic of the thread was not "Does ballmode care if Trent Reznor believes in God?" Got egocentrism?

Personally, I find it an interesting question, as it puts some of his music in context and might make you think about your own position a little more. Not saying it should shake your beliefs, but a little introspection never hurts.

Indeed. Iron Maiden, for example, are all newfound-faith-kinda-thing christians, apparently.

Why would it do that? Oh, a musician believes in god therefore I must evaluate my position on the matter? That's like asking a basketball player for his opinion on the middle east.

it must work if every election year we end up with incessent celebrity ads trying to convince us to vote one way or another.
