Does TOR hide internet traffic internally?

They'll see you're using Tor, and if they have access to the physical machine, they could use screen capture software to see what you're doing. Otherwise, Tor cleans up after itself pretty well, so no traces of history should be left on the machine when you're finished.

Never used it but a quick google search shows it does cleanup your browser history if you configure it do so.

Yes admins know you are using TOR.
We can watch you using your computer and you won't know.
Do not use TOR at a business without prior authorization if you do not want to visit your HR Department.
 
If you want to be safe just use a SSH tunnel to your house then use tor from there. Nothing stops them from using screen cap type software though. I always like to use a work computer with the assumption that someone is looking over my shoulder at all times.

A little bit of web surfing here and there but nothing out of the ordinary, and no questionable sites.

OP seriously get a 4g connection and use it. Do not attempt to circumvent your employer's IT controls.

Anyone that tells you differently has not been caught yet.
