Does tirerack ship tires in a box or just the tires themselves?

I was hoping that I could reuse the box to sell my current tires.

The tires themselves packaged in bags of two with zipline tying them together. (at least with the yokohomas I've bought)

I thought they'd come in boxes too... Imangine how pissed the recieving dept at my last company was when they came in :evil:

haha. i ordered a single tire once and went to pick it up at the mailroom and the guy literally rolled the tire out to me. i really thought it would be in *something*

Correct, I have ordered from them three times and they have all come like this. The first time I ordered they did not come in bags at all.

this thread reminds me of that post in Audi World or something where a dude bought a set of S4 wheels and the seller literally stuck stamps along the spokes and shipped it as is
