Does TI-85 do Laplace???

I was wondering if anyone out there knows if there is a program for the TI-85 to do Laplace and inverse Laplace. If so, can someone tell me where to get this program? Thanks.

why? the laplace transforms and it's inverses are pretty easy to remember/memeorize and most of the complex ones are linear...if it gets rough you can always derive the laplace by yourself. I learned it 3 weeks ago and it found it really easy.

That is if you have the computer program to link the Ti-85 to your computer with the serial connector.

Either you are VERY good with math, or you have been working on fairly simple problems. I've been using it to solve SDOF vibration problems lately. The transform is pretty easy, but the inverse sucks with all the algebra required to get it into a form the table has. Over all, I was a LOT happier to move on to MDOF problems and leave Laplace behind for a while. I have to say, vibrations has made my head hurt! *grin*

yep we are only doing the mathmatics(in differential eqautions) of it and it sounds like your doing some complex EE stuff...way beyond me. good luck...in finding that lapdance for your ti-85

Yeah I am using it for problems in my Systems class. I can do it manually but the time it takes to do inverse laplace, the intense algebra involved and the ease in making a stupid mistake, can cost a great deal of time and headache on a time based test. Specially the ones given by my professor who expects us to take up the full three hours of his final exam. That is why I am looking for a program so I can at least do the transforms on the calculator, so i can spend more time on the fourier portion, and then go back, if time permits, and do the laplace manually. I guess no-one can repond to if the TI-85 does have a program available. If anyone knows, please post. TICALC.org does not.

This has something to do with Lapdance and not Laplaces. Me and my friends were in cal one day. A friend of mine downloaded a stripper movie for his HP48Gx. Pretty funny stuff since I had no idea that anyone could convert a movie to whatever format the Gx was able to play.
