Yes it does. Just don't expect it to be fast. It's just a super-compact Via motherboard with a sub-PIII class chip soldered onto the board (i.e. non-removable).

OP: Because you're new and I don't know how savvy you are with PC's, I'm just going to say "yes" to your question. It's a REALLY crappy motherboard, but XP came out years ago. Anything in production today in the retail consumer market (basically anything you'd even remotely seriously consider buying) will run with XP provide that it's got the proper driver support -which is almost a given.

It won't be terribly snappy, that VIA chip just might be able to match a 500MHz PIII, quite possibly more like a 400MHz PII; but it is perfectly normal x86 gear. You should be fine, assuming you don't want to do anything too demanding on the machine.
