For the last several weeks on an random basis when I boot up one of my hard drives doesn't get recognized. I have 2 drives one a SATAII and the other regular IDE. If I unplug the ribbon on the one not showing up then plug it back into the board when I reboot it shows up. No other problems are occurring. Any thoughts on if the board is going bad...I wondered about hard drives going bad but it happens to both randomly and of course they are connected to the board on separate connectors. System is:

Asrock 939 Dual SATA2 board bios 2.30
AMD x2 3800+ CPU
2 sticks, 1 Gig each, of PC 3200 GSkill working as dual channel
One drive is Western Digital 250G SATAII
Other drive is Maxtor 160gig regular IDE ata133
1 DVD/RW and 1 DVD (no problems detecting)
ATI x850 PCI express Video card
PSU is Antec NeoPower 480W

I have 2 of those dual sata II's. I switched back to bios version 1.50, and it runs more stable. I had windows bluescreens before. The newer bios versions are mostly for the am2 riser card, which nobody I know uses.

Really....is there a stable overclocking bios older than 2.30 to switch to? I overclock my x2 3800+ and it wasn't stable with the 1.50 bios. Thanks o1die..
