Does this Sound Like a Dead Motherboard?

Turned off computer - after shutting down it re-started. Had to turn it off via the
PSU power switch. When i powered the PSU up again, the computer started
automatically. No beeps - boot process not started. Just the CPU fan and
video card fan running.

Used voltmeter and got good reading from the Power Supply.

Dead mobo?

Could be a faulty PSU signal, the "power good" signal could be screwed up. That's very odd though, of course it could be the mobo.
Test it out. Different PSU, different mobo.

Your post got me off my lazy a$$... i popped a new power supply in and now it works.

So it's a bad PSU not the motherboard.
