First, some background:
Someone gained access to my paypal account and bought skype credits with it. I caught it pretty much right away and changed my paypal PW. I alerted both Skype and Paypal of the activity and now Skype has sent me this email:
Hello ,
Thank you for contacting Skype Support.
Your letter has been passed on to me in order to explain the situation to you more clearly and offer some advice on how to take care of fraudulent charges.
In your case it appears that someone has succeeded in fraudulently obtaining your PayPal account and purchasing credit. Online companies such as Skype take every precaution available to ensure that only genuine transactions get processed, however criminals have developed a number of techniques, such as phishing and email scams in order to gain access to PayPal accounts.
This is of course disconcerting for both of us.
So, what should you do?
First, you are not liable for this transaction in any way. If you suspect that your PayPal account has been fraudulently used. We suggest that you submit a Transaction Dispute via Paypal.com. Please log into your PayPal account to submit the dispute and it will be handled through PayPal's official dispute management system: https://www.paypal.com/ewf/f=sa_unauth
In this case, the fraudulent user has stolen the use of our service and we will not receive any compensation, this come directly out of our pocket. This is clearly a problem for us and we are continually working to increase our security measures and prevent as many of these fraudulent transactions as possible.
Furthermore we can start an investigation from our side in order to locate and block the orders related to your PayPal account in our system. Therefore we would need the following information:
1. Your PayPal registered e-mail
2. First name, last name and the registered billing address for your account.
We want to emphasize that this action would stop the fraudulent orders of your PayPal account in our system but won't solve any other fraudulent charges.
Hopefully this helps to explain what has occurred and how you should proceed.
'
Best regards,
Domenico

It's from billing@skype.net but it still sounds fishy. Does anyone else think it'd be stupid to give them this info or am I just being paranoid?
