It's not a scam, it's called a martix.
Basically, you put in so much money (I'll use the $50 Playstation from a month ago as an example) and once a certain number of people have put in money the first person on the list gets a playstation. Once the same ammount of people have put in money the second person gets theirs.
For the Playstation 2, it was 5 people @ $50. Once 5 people paid, person #1 got a PS2. Once 10 people paid, person #2 got a PS2.
It adds up quickly. Say you were person #20 on the list, you wouldn't get a PS2 until 100 people had paid. So unless you're #1 or 2 on the list I wouldn't go for it.

b/c it makes it seem like you're gonna get something you don't, just like a pyramid scheme. they don't come out and say, this is a pyramid scam, you're only gonna get paid if you are one of the people that has started this... they say, oh look how easy, you'll make thousands... i'm sure this thing is similar.

A scam is something that doesn't work the way it's advertised to be. If this thing works out though, how is it a scam?

This thing is advertised as it is. If it works, and who's to say it doesn't without trying it..it's legit, and not a scam.
It's no different than online brokers advertising people making money on the stock market, they don't say "Beware, potential loss of money involved"..
