does this seem like a good deal for a laptop?

A friend of mine want advice on a laptop purchase and I typically only deal with desktop PCs.

He only wants to spend between 500 and 600 dollars. He does not play games and only surfs the web, facebook, simple photo viewing, etc.

I ran across this add and seemed to have the most stuff for the cheapest price.

does this seem ok? Can anyone else point me to a better deal. He is in a hurry to buy, so I think he would prefer to get it at a brick and mortor location.

Does he want a 17" screen? A lot of people find that's a bit too big unless the laptop is being used as a desktop.

I think he would prefer the larger screen but that is not his major concern. I think he will eventually get rid of his desktop. Plus he is getting old and would probably like the bigger screen. LOL

He just wants the best bang for the buck...
