Im taking a 1 credit health class. We are taking our first test. We were instructed to write our answes on an answer sheet and then each of us gets a numbered remote(with letters a-d on it) and he sets up a reciever on a desk and we input our answers using the remote. The instructions he gave for the test: "input the 40 questions on to the screen" that is it verbatim. I notice the 40 question booklet and then on the back are 10 more questions, but he said just 40 questions so i ignore the ones on the back, especially since the answer sheet only has 40 answer spaces. I input my answers turn everything in and about 20 seconds later i see him putting a big x through my test, and i went up there and asked him if i could finish it, and he wouldnt let me.

I know it was my mistake but he specifically said "input the 40 questions on the screen" that was it, nothing more, and since the answer sheet only had 40 spaces. The guy is such an ass i thought if i was to do the 10 questions he would probably take even more points off. Do i have a chance with this and the dean? he never said anything about there not being enough answer spaces, questions on the back, etc.

The idea didnt even come to me. I was so sure there were only 40 questions. I didnt even read a single one of the 10 questions on the back.

Basically. :( Sorry man, but it is better to ask a stupid question and appear dumb for a second rather than not ask any question appear smart and fail. :(

Maybe you can discuss this in his office hours or something.
