Does this PSU have enough juice?

I purchased a Fong Kai 603 with an Enhance 250W PSU, which is said to be a pretty good PSU. Anyway, I'm putting a DVD drive, CDRW, one HD, a floppy, and two case fans in the system that will be running off the PSU. The cpu is a Duron 1000. I'm not sure how much juice those Sunon case fans use. Do you think this PSU is sufficient?

Unless those fans are the monster huge 120mm type, you should be fine. Even if they were, I doubt you would have a problem. In any event, if you already bought the PSU, I would certainly give it a try before buying more power.

It should probably run, but I would get a good 300+ watt psu in there fast, before trying to really multitask, or put a good load on the cpu.

It depends somewhat on which motherboard you are going to use. Some motherboards are reallly picky about their power requirements. If the PSU came with the case then go ahead and build your rig and see if it works. If not, then buy a quality 350 watt PSU.

My friend runs an athlon xp 1600+, dvd rom, cd burner, 2 hdd's, a floppy drive, and 3 fans all on an old generic 235 watt psu. I'd say you'll be fine.

You'll be fine... people think too much these days that you need a 5 billion watt PSU for anything.. not true.. i have an Athlon 1333 rig with a GF2 card in it running on a generic 250W in a regular 30 buck case and i havent noticed any problems.. the air coming out of the back of the PS is barely even warm.

Also, all the PC's that are built at my work use the same Aopen case, the Aopen KF45W and it has a 250W.. most of the PC's are PentiumIII 866, 1GHz, and Athlon Thunderbird 900's. No problems.
