I'm looking for a product that I can plug into an active coax cable connection that will transmit to a receiver upstairs that I can plug my TV into. I've been able to find products that transmit specific video feeds, but that's not what I'm looking for.

In a nutshell, I want to be able to plug my TV into the receiver and watch basic cable (not digital) as I would normally on a wired connection (i.e. independent of other tvs in the house) . Does something like this exist? If so, anyone know where I could get this? TIA...

yes. i've actually installed one at a clients place before. i think he bought it at radio shack tho. i didn't actually buy it, he has a tendency to just buy stuff and then ask me to come over and install it for him.
