I was doing a search for the new york auto show thread, so I just searched for new, and all of the links in the thread are messed up.

Yes, but take out the highlighting and it's fine.

HAH. It's because you searched for the word new, so it puts the code to highlight "new" in the middle of the code that defines the link target and class. I'd call that a bit of a bug, the search function searching the content of HTML tags.
