Does this mvoie exist?

I was surfing a few minutes ago when all of a sudden an enormous pop-under ad appeared when I closed out all my windows. It was for a movie, "The Beast." From what I gather, its based on the premise that Jesus Christ never existed (it's a myth), and some teenager finds out the turth and so on and so forth. I went to the site (Here), and it has a "trailer" (consisting of a picture of a painting and a ton of text), a synopsis of the story, and forums that have nothing but Fundies screaming about the movie. I was just wondering if anyone knew if this was a fake or not, because I suspect that if it goes national, it'll be worse than F9/11 or The Passion combined.

(BTW, if this turns ugly, Mods just delete rather than move to P&N... I'd hate to have to mess around with that category to read responses)

haha, i remember a religous infomercial(they really ARE selling something) talking about a 'beast' movie they will give you on dvd, it sounded horrible and looked it too

if you want crazy religion cover up, read Holy Blood Holy Grail.

edit: i hope you werent browsing with IE -shivers- and thats why you got the pop-up. the movie looks pretty legit. i downloaded the '666' desktop. it looks pretty nice, think im gonna get the buddy icon too.
