This is where he stacks thermal tape around the center heatsink contact of the P3 until it is even with the contact in height. Smears some thermal goo and slaps the heatsink and fan on. If you've tried it, how effective is this?

Oh, and out of curiosity, how hot does the internal CPU temp usually get for you guys? What about the external ambient temp within the case? Overclocked or not.

too much, your only suppose to have athin layer of paste and thats all,it will cook it's self if you do that
