I heard tickings noises from my computer, and i figured it was in my hdd. after it starting behaving really wierd and restarting, i could restart it anymore without getting an unmountable boot volume error. the thing is, this has happened before and ive just reformatted. HOWEVER, i have to reformat using a killdisk, THEN install windows, i cant just format it thru the windows disc for some wierd reason.

so im wondering if i should RMA it or just reformat again...

For me its a no brainer.....

Drive not functioning per specs, then just...RMA

No need to play time consuming fix it yourself games...

Go to drive website and see what it takes to send that sucka back

Good Luck
