I do not have a home theatre and have absolutely no desire to acquire one.

I have an old Zenith or RCA TV, can't remember which it is, and a cheapo DVD player to watch a movie once or twice a month. I would rather read a book than watch the mindless crap that is broadcast or delivered over cable and satelite.

Sitting on my front porch talking with the neighbors is far more fulfilling than staring at a glowing tube and if I get pissed off I can shoot their dog with my pellet gun.

I'm too young with too little finances for a home theater.. but mark my words I will have a kickass setup some day. I hate reading, and never had any ambition to talk to my asshole neighbors here, so TV provides a nice means of escape.

..I only watch dvd's..the crap on TV is a waste of bandwidth. And I like to read..non fiction. I do have a 30" 16x9 hd monitor for my dvd's. 🙂
