I hope you like MLM, because that is what you will be doing.

?

Multi Level Marketing. Basically, selling some BS product (weight loss pills, stuff like that)... and getting commisions off of sales. You also make commissions from people "down line" from you (that is, people that are roped into selling the stuff through you).

I wouldn't get into this if I were you.

From my experience, about 1 out of 20 jobs at Careerbuilder will ever turn out to be remotely possible/legitimate job opportunity. It's a wasteland for spam and crap like this.

Because it tends to require an up-front investment, and either the market is so saturated by other people doing the same thing that you can't sell anything, or the market just has no desire for your product, so you can't sell anything or get people to sell stuff through you.

Typically, MLM based companies with aggressive recruitment run on a pyramid-type scheme. Depending upon how high up in the pyramid you are, you may make some money, but you will be screwed in the end either way.

Seriously... I wouldn't trust this place. Even if it were legit... I wouldn't want to go around cold calling a bunch of people trying to sell them a VOIP solution, would you?

well since i dont' have much money currently and my car is having spordaic issues, i'd rather work at home if this is legit until i can afford to have my car exhaustively tested, because thats probably what it will take unfortuantely to figure out whats wrong with it :(

[breaks out the internet sledgehammer]
Ok time to pound this into your thick skull.
This company is borderline legit.
[bonk]
It is very likely they will want some money upfront or want you to buy some product to show off.
[smack]
The likelyhood of you actualy making money from this job is about as probable as Syringer finishing his story.
[boink]
Now wake the ***** up and listen to what is being said to you..

Actually, those jobs are now all located in a seperate category, and are not included in the main job searches.....for the most part. There *may* be some that have still gotten through.
