Slow hard drive, bay-trail isn't the fastest... For a small laptop it's not bad but if you're doing actual work you might want a desktop.

slow hard drive = no good. try to get to 8gb of RAM.

better off getting two hard drives - one for the OS and proggies, another for files and the scratch disk.

I have a powehouse desktop. Like how light it is, but will it have a problem running premiere? And I could always upgrade to ssd right?

What type of shop work are you going to do? It should be ok for light work but it will lag for more intense work.

Bay Trails are Atom processors designed for cheap ultra thin laptops. Pound per pound, these are actually slower than my six year old MacBook, which probably costs the same to buy off eBay. You can buy a phone that's faster.

If you can save a couple hundred bucks more, you can get a much better laptop. Adobe Premiere is a fairly heavy program. Bay Trail probably won't be fast enough, especially if you get into After Effects or ever need to render something.

Plus you're not going to want to do any serious video and photo editing on an 11'' screen.

For Photoshop it's okay. But you'll want 8GB of RAM, and a better CPU with more cores for video editing, and a larger, higher resolution display.

Using an integrated GPU like that on large files in Photoshop is like shoving things under your fingernails for fun.
