Why do you think it looks wrong? I don't know the correct wiring, but there is a logical wiring pattern there.

Agreed. It's a standard USB block connector, I'm sure it's fine.
 
yeah, it does... it looks like they incorrectly wired one of the usb ports.

i don't think you'll fry your motherboard if you plug it in... you might fry your peripheral, though.
