Okay... this kid is a kid that was in one of my classes this year and him and a bunch of friends have at "TV show" that they do, it's pretty much a play off of Saturday night live. Well they have a website and I told him that their webpage sucked ass and that he should let a friend of mine (BowDown) and I do it. I was going to do the flash intro and BowDown was going to do the HTML, we had a bunch of graphics and whatnot created and I had some ideas flowing and acctually started the flash intro. I told him we wouldn't put the site up until the entire thing was done so he could look at it and we could add and subtract or edit what parts he didn't like. The kid had a domain name picked out for us that we where going to buy and we where going to host the site on BowDown's server.
To make a longer story shorter:
This kid IM's me on AOL instant messenger this morning and asks about the web page. I said it was coming slowly and that we hadn't even started writing the HTML it probably would be a while before we had anything to show him. He told me to screw myself and that he didn't want us to do it anymore because we where wasting his time... was he right to get pissed off at us?
Reminders:
- He didn't pay us a cent to do this... we volunteered.
- He didn't pay us any money for the domain name, and we hadn't purchased it yet
- We told him that we'd put it all up at once... not piece by piece
- We didn't set a completion date.
