Does this exist? USB Bluetooth that doesn't require drivers? Self-Contained?

essential

I'm looking for something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-K33...dp/B000YA1XU2/

But I need something that is self-contained, and doesn't require drivers to function. I'm hoping to plug it into the USB on the front of my car CD player and stream bluetooth audio.

Is this possible or not if the bluetooth adapter doesn't require drivers to be installed?

Thanks.

What you're describing would pretty much need to be a whole SoC. I'm sure such a thing is technically possible, I've never seen one.

The specs for that Kensington BT adapter state that the device hosting the USB port has to be BT enabled. That means the drivers are already there.
