I just got a lcd/tv monitor, and it doesnt have any headphone type jack in it. I play my xbox on it and wana be able t use headphones etc so i dont awlays have to have the sound annoy roomates...

So is there a converter that exists that takes the two audio rca cables plugs, from the xbox, into the converter, and has a heaphone jack coming out? or anything that would do this same function. weird ass monitor that doesnt have headphone jacks but hey, there has to be a way to make it work.

yeah i need two female rca inputs, and one female output, for headphones / speakers etc, and maybe a way to have another set of female rca outputs so i can have it constintly hooked up instead of messing with it all the time..

Kameleon, that would allow me to hook the headphones to the monitor yes, but then the xbox would no longer be hooked in making it kinda useless. close yet not it.

maybe if there was a splitter for the two female rca audio inputs on the monitor, i could use that and have the xbox plugged in at the same time.

alright, thinking this would work, but let me know dunno if the mono / stero differences will allow it to work or not. im thinking

xbox audio cables go into 1/4" Female Mono Jack to 2) RCA Females, then i can plug my headphones/speakers direcly into that, and i could get a 1/4" Mono to 2) RCA Males, to keep plugged into the audio rca inputs in the back of the monitor, then i can just switch the mono plug to where my headphones are if i needed to use the monitor speakers..

will this work?
