nope, but why would you want to use dvd-ram? dvd+r is far superior (well if you are looking for backwards compatibility anyway)

I don't... a friend is looking for a drive that supports all formats for some silly project.

All your optical drives are half-height. Full height takes up two 5.25" bays...older hard drives were this large.
