Does this constitute as murder?

I dont know the whole story but from what everyone has been telling me someone is in A LOT of trouble.

I'll keep it short.

Fiance's uncle and cousin got into a fight. Her uncle has a fiance who's 4 months pregnant. They were jumped by my fiance's cousin who got her husband involve with the situation. So now you have two couples fighting another couple. So, it's two on two and I was told that the cousin kicked the back of her uncle's fiance. I found out today she lost her baby. The fight was provoked by the cousin and her husband.

As of today, the cousin and her husband is suing the uncle and his fiance. For what? I dont know but I was told they got the worst of it and they're suing because they got hurt from the fight. It's funny huh? They started the fight but they ended up getting fuvked up.

So, does this constitute as murder?

Maybe, depends on jurisdiction.

I heard about this before on Law & Order. Had to do with the exact age of the fetus.

Not sure if it can, but I know that Scott Peterson is being charged with the murder of their unborn child.

I know there's a certain age that the fetus has to be in order for it to be considered that.

Murder... I dunno
Asshole-ish of the cousin to kick a pregnant woman... you damn well better believe it.

no matter who started it first...its always the losers/hurt who end up getting ahead.
it sucks but not much u can do.

Scott Peterson is on trial for 2 murders, one his wife, the other his unborn child. Depends on the law in the state the event occured.
Personally it sounds like 2nd degree murder. If they intended to do bodily harm a good DA might make a case for 1st degree.

Something wrong with asian ppl. They never want the cops involve for some reason.
The uncle and his fiance arent pressing charges. They said it's over with but as of today,
they were told they were being sued by the couple who started the fight. He had every right
to defend his fiance and I spoke with him today and it almost made me cry hearing him say
"They killed my baby."

Wow.. that is seriously messed up. Im ashamed to be asian right now.

The fundies would like Bush to declare that extracting stem cells from embryos, after the fact, constitutes accomplice to murder. :disgust:

FWIW, Scott Peterson's case is much different. Even in the liberal-leaning state of California, his unborn child was due within days of the disappearance of the wife. It does still make me wonder if the fetus was mutilated in the course of the tragedy, or if nature somehow separated fetus from the mother's corpse. 🙁

BTW, the OP's description is confusing.
