Does this article sound a little...critical?

This CNN article mentions how a 7 year old boy was being "wooed" by the military. I dont know but for some reason the article gave me the feeling that CNN is not very fond of the armed forces. Correct me if I am wrong? 😕

Doesn't sound very critical to me, but they are raising a valid point: The kid is only 7 years old!

If CNN wasn't fond of the armed forces, I doubt if they would have had so much war coverage or had a retired Army general acting as a consultant to their news team.

The only thing CNN did was point out a silly case where a 7 year old was involved. I didn't see any criticism at all in that article - but I'll add some critism of my own.

[critical]The military got someone's name wrong - and it is their policy to hound that person over and over for the next 5 years. That is how it works for everyone who gets on thier list of names. I think the military should have the technology to be able to take someone's name off their list. But they either don't have it or don't use it. It is an annoying problem I had - being woke up at least once a week (often before 7am) with another call to join the army/navy/marines. Why won't they obey a simple request to put my name and number on their do not call list? The more they call the more I get angry - and the less likely I will join (assuming of course there is a magical cure for my asthma).[/critical]

That is critical. I didn't see anything like that in the CNN article.
