The worst case of cheating AI has to be in the NHL series from EA sports though. On the highest difficulty setting, the computer AI will play downright horribly, but then for a magical 15 seconds or so the computer will waltz all around the ice right until they score a goal. It's blatantly obvious, I know now when the computer will score a goal because instantaneously the game makes a 180. Before whereas I could check a player, suddenly they'll morph through the check, complete a 5 way tic-tac-toe pass across the zone and then a one-timer where the goalie won't even move. This is why I refuse to play against the AI anymore in NHL. And if I do, I will crank goalie boost all the way up just to counter-attack these blatant skill increases and center ice slapshot goals. It's horrible. NHL games are great against other players, but against the AI it's a horrible experience.
