Does this 3dmark seem low?

Ok just built my new computer, first test was stock abit siluro ti4200 64mb, with my 512 of 2100 infineon and p4 2.26 at stock speeds, i got a 6853, i was hoping for more like 9000. Then i o/ced my p4 to 2.55 and ran it again and got 7683. I havn't o/ced the 4200 yet cuz i can't get the abit graphic max thing to install, can't even select it on the cd for some reason and if i run setup through the folder on the cd it gets an error when i try to run. What do you recommend i use instead to o/c the card. And does stock 4200 on a p4 running 2.55 getting only 7683 seem low?

Edit/ i also have yet to install abits official moboard drivers, would this have any effect?

Edit AGAIN/ i also havn't installed new nvidia detonators, bah i was in too much of a rush to test the 3dmark after uping from my intel 8210E integrated graphics and my 3dmark of 500. Question still remains though, what do you guys use for o/cing the card?

And now that i have detonators and the motherboard drivers loaded, it jumped to 11010 at stock Now i can't wait to overclock so a big cookie for anyone who tells me other ways to overclock besides the abit graphics max thing cuz it aint installin.

Try using powerstrip. It's a lovely little utility which has o'cing functions and more for your graphics card. You can get it here Link

Im glad you got a performance jump because I got 7200 on 3dMark2001 with a 900mhz athlon running at 100 FSB +)

If you havent installed the MB drivers that would have a DRASTIC effect.

er.. dude.... yes.. it's low. I'm running on Tbird 1.33 with Rad8500 and it scored 78xx-79xx (default)

Install those other drivers!

Hey guyses, sorry to hijack your l337 thread here? I'm having problems with teh 3Dmarks game. My score aint looking the bestest that its could been. I's just assembled this sastyem from monies my mom gave to mi for christemas? I'ave took teh Compact case that used to hold my Petnium 300Hz. I have my dad place the parts in tehere already. After he installled the Windows on the drives I ran my programs. The 3DMarks was 1 of tehm my buddy Steve from school gaved to me. What is wrong?

you should be scoring ~10000 with your card at stock speeds.
