Does the X360 COD4 DLC map pack essentially divide the multiplayer pool into two groups?

I'm pretty sure that you simply are removed from the room if you don't have the map pack (when a new map comes up)... at least that's the way it works on the 360 (though I bought the map pack when it came out so I don't have personal experience).
 
no. if u are searching it with pair u with people that have it. but if u dont have it it will pair u with anyone.

but if u are in a room with people it wont boot u out. it just will never have those maps in that rotation.
