I am not a picky monitor guy... color/contrast etc

I'm running a 23" Sceptre with max resolution of 1360x768... yeah, nothing special I know! only thing i will not stand for in a monitor is input lag and poor ms response times (i'm a heavy gamer)...

Can anyone tell me if the 28" Viewsonic VX2835 or 28" Hanns-G HG281D have any input lag?

Please help! Your answers will weigh heavily on my decision to order in the next couple days!

Have you made your purchase yet? I have the I-Inc branded version of the Hanns-G. It's a great monitor. I use a VGA cable for my Wii and no input lag. My only complaint is viewing angle of dark greys and blacks. Since I only sit like 3-4 feet away, when gaming, most of the monitor is above eye level. When playing a dark game like Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, you get a negative black effect unless you sit in the proper position to avoid any dark viewing spots. But it looks amazing for bright games like Super Mario Galaxy.
