i can undertand the idea of putting milk in a bag, no air gets in because you just squash the bag down as you use it, it only takes up the space of the milk left, while a jug takes up the space of the jug for even just one glass. A bag withone glass in it would take much less.
first the Brits are cracking neighbors thigh bones for the marrow & now this !! Guess it is too cold to chase sheep or something else productive...
I live down in Texas and for a while when I was in school they tried the milk bags. They said there reasoning on them was that they would save space when trashed. For the people that don't know about these, it is a little bag with milk in it and it has a straw that you poke through the plastic and you are supposed to drink the milk out of it. That is not what we did with them though, we would squirt each other and squirt milk on anything we saw fit. They were also very easy to make a mess with if you squeezed one to tight while holding it LOL. That only lasted for a couple of months before the janitors got tired of cleaning up the messes and complained which was the end of milk bags for us.
WHAT THE HELL?! How have you guys not heard of ketchup chips! That's insane! I have a bag of Lays (which you US dudes have) ketchup chips right now....wierd indeed!
why is it so hard to belive milk can come in bags?
you put the bag in a pitcher and cut off a little hole on the corner of the bag and just pour it. i find it more convienent than buying pitchers or cartons
i think ketchup chips are gross....even worse: dill pickle
Seems like I have seen them for sale before, somewhere, but they certainly are not common here. We do have vinegar & salt chips though, as well as barbeque, cheese, sour cream+onion, that's all I can think of now.
Never heard of ketchup chips but my school district does have milk in bags because they are so much smaller so it results in less garbage than cartons.
please note:
our milk bags are not small milk bags that you stick straws in.
they are large one litre bags that you put in a milk jug and cut the end off of,
i have never heard of these small ones before.
*kat. <-- thinking of becoming an ketchup chip dealer hehehehe
