Does the U.S. have satellites that can track the movement of nuclear devices?

Not for sure.. I think nuke radiation shows up on certain scans but supposely each nuke has a tag like the airplane which also can be removed...

One would hope so. I was wondering the same thing myself. Wondering if there is some way we can scan for some radioactive signal a nuclear weapon would give off.

Considering no one has used one against us or anyone else yet, to me that suggests either we do or the countries with the capability have done a good job of not allowing their technology to fall into the wrong hands.

Or perhaps everyone realizes that the use of a nuke could very easily and quickly lead to complete destruction of the world. Because it would cause a domino effect.

I sincerely doubt it would be that useful if we did, because if the weapon was to be sheltered in under thick concrete bunker or even a box with 5" thick lead, all radiation leaking out of it would be stopped.

They can track any launched missles, they can detect above or below ground nuclear tests/launches, but as for tracking say suitcase nukes, nope...

I don't think so. What's scary is that there are supposedly nuclear devices from the former Soviet Union that is unaccounted for.

I'm actually more worried about biological attack. Saddam supposedly has tons of these.

I just hope that this crisis doesn't escalate into some of these scary scenerios. God help us all.
