Does the Sound Blaster live Value card support 4.1 and 5.1 speakers?

Only if it is designated a "5.1" card. The original SBlive Value will not support 5.1, only 4.1

How many jacks are on the back and what colors are they?
4.1 have 4 jacks and a 5.1 should have 5.

5.1 should have 5 jacks for the following:

mic in
line in
speaker-front
speaker - rear
speaker - center channel

I have an SBLive Value and a 2.1 setup, my bro has an SBLive 5.1, but he only has a 4.1 setup. I believe the Value can't handle 5.1, which is exactly why there is a seperate and specifically designated 5.1 card which is more expensive.
