Does the Shuttle AN35N-400 have PCI lock?

How do I find out if the Shuttle AN35N-400 have PCI lock? Also, an unrelated question, does onboard LAN suck off CPU cyles like onboard sound?

check in the BIOS to see if you can lock the AGP/PCI bus to 66/33. Onboard LAN doesn't hurt you very much at all, if any really. Especially on newer processors.

what do you mean by "lock"? I really want to know.

The AGP/PCI lock, keeps the AGP/PCI frequency at 66MHZ (AGP) / 33MHZ (PCI) when you increase the Front Side Bus.

Yes, it does maintain the correct AGP/PCI frequencies no matter what the FSB is. You can change them if you want.

The onboard lan has a seperate chip, so I do not think it will consume anymore cycles than anyother add-on LAN card.

Thanks, but I wasn't able to find anything in my bios regarding AGP/PCI bus. Any ideas where it's at?

Thanks
