i am using the dets 44.03s because they seem to like desert combat and i really dont want to upgrade to the latest drivers that have the refresh rate lock. does microshaft have a fix for it or does it even exist anymore. Do my OpenGL and DirectX games only operate at 60?

oops, i meant to say RefreshForce, unless you find yourself constantly switching between different vid cards and monitors. thats the difference between those two : force lets you set it once and forget about it, lock gets loaded everytime so it is safer for an ever changing environment...

AFAIK & it works in my case.

In attributes I have a check next to "Use DDC Information" if that's of any help.

Just set the refresh rates you want used for each resolution in the driver control panel under the "Refresh Rate Overrides" tab.
