Does the postal service x-ray stuff?

Does the postal service x-ray items sent as media mail? I'm sending some darkroom photo paper and I don't want them ruined by x-ray.

Just make sure you write on the outside, in big red letters, "DO NOT LOOK IN THIS PACKAGE". That'll clear things right up.

For the ignorant people:

x-ray can fog up photographic material and this is the reason for asking this question.

dont they make special envelopes for film?

This isnt film though, it's paper. I'm guessing that they do have something similar to the photo tubes though.
