Does the Pioneer A06 support 4x DVD+RW?

does any current burner support 4x +RW? All the ones I've seen are 4X for +R but only 2.4X for +RW.

THe sony DRU510A can do 4X DVD+RW, my dad just got one.

All that is allowing is the drive to write to 4x media at the highest speed of the drive for +RW media (2.4x). Here is a direct quote:
"After the new firmware is applied, you will be able to write to 4x media at your drives maximum writing speed of 2.4x. In this respect, the new media will work in the same way as the 2.4x media you were accustomed to: there is no loss in writing performance when you use the new media! I dont think the Sony 510A is available in any other color than the silver bezel.

the 510A is more of a silvery, clear, white crazy drive. its not plain white like all the other drives. looks like they got creative with it.

The Pioneer is probably a different drive. Pioneer drives usually have holes at the rear. The NEC drive doesn't have one.

According to the product description it's an DW-U10A which is an OEM DRU-500A and not an OEM DRU-510A as the Item/Model # implies. 2.4x DVD+RW vs. 4x DVD+RW and 10x CD-RW vs. 16x CD-RW are the differences.
