Hendrix posting links to a nude website when you made it look like it was referring to a rule or such is not smart.

Suggest you remove it man before bad stuff happens.

I don't know. The officer kept moving between my camera and the subject in the patrol car to block the photo and said that I can't because he's in custody and can't choose to remove himself from public like a free man could. Made sense.

The officer was wrong. The arrest record and mug shot are public record. Suspects have no expectation of privacy while being detained and/or arrested. Being technically right doesn't mean you won't get cuffed and detained though. I've also talked to lots of news photogs in small towns were the local law enforcement isn't really concerned or knowledgeable about constitutional rights.

Once he makes it to the jail and becomes an inmate, then he has reasonable expectation of privacy and you can't take his photo without permission. Every time I've shot in a jail, mostly Los Angeles County Sheriff's or California State facilities, the escort loudly notifies all inmates in the room that I am taking photos and if they don't want to be identified in the shot to turn away.

There is a public nude beach here. Some people take pictures, mostly of themselves and friends, and the creepy weirdos generally just lookie-loo.

There wouldn't be any issue with taking pictures and posting them though. It's just a real jackass thing to do.
You can't compare Canada with the US.

Wreck Beach and Crescent Rock Beach are in Canada. In BC Women allow to go topless on the street, and we also are lax regarding marijuana usage compare to American.

That said, any one and everything can be photograph in public places except for military & nuclear facilities. And, it mean that you can also take pictures of kids as well.
