Does the Matrox G450 have more RAMDAC than the G400?

I'm just wondering which one has better 2D. I need to know right away, as i will be ordering one tonight.

Same core AFAIK but with a bunch of features added to it.
But same RAMDAC.

ok...is it worth the extra 10 dollars for a G450 16mb SDR card over the 16mb G400? this will not be used for gaming at all. both are duel head.

It uses a different RAMDAC. The new one allows for much higher resolutions and refresh rates than the G400 for the second display.

yes, the g400 had a 300mhz, the g400 max had a 360mhz. But the 2nd ramdacs on the g400s were only 200mhz, while the g450 has 2 360mhz ones
