Does the Live! 5.1 & the DTT 2200's support AC-3 in win 2k?

I have this on a machine w/ Win 2K and no dolby digital. I know there was an issue with liveware 3.0 not supporting AC-3 passthru in Win 2K. Is this still the case with the Live 5.1, DTT 2200's, and WinDVD 3.0 multichannel?
