Does the epox 8k7a always give the cpu .05 more voltage or are the voltage readings incorrect?

At default voltage my cpu is read at 1.8 volts and with .1 its 1.9. Are these readings correct? Thanks.

I have 1.79v normal. Probably due to the different chips we're using. no big deal.

You know I noticed in the manual that the board is set to be +.05 or +.1 V and I wasn't sure why, so I left it alone. Mine has been running fine, so I don't know if I'll change it or not.

My 8K7A's default was 1.77v. Now it's at 1.87v. BTW, check this out:

I spoke too soon. I read that a v1607 BIOS can be found here. Warning: I have no idea if this is a legit BIOS; I can't find it on Epox's web or ftp sites. If someone tries this, let the rest of us know if it's OK -- if you can. <EG>
