Does the DS3 G965 OC or perform noticably worse than the DS3 P965

I am building a rig for a roommate on a budget and decided that integrated graphics are just fine for him. However, I was wondering if the G965 chipset is noticably worse than the P965 chipset in terms of stability, OCing, or performance. I have also read around somewhere that the G965 will not work with DDR2-800 while integrated video is enabled and was wondering if that is true? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Most boards with integrated graphics offer few of the options needed for overclocking.
