Does the D975XBX motherboard support the Core 2 Duo?

I saw the nice review in Tom's about the D975XBX but am not clear whether it supports the Core 2 Duo or not based on Intel's website.

Did you read the discussion section? Why not sign-up and ask there as the others have done. I think that'll be the place the answer will come, certainly not from the manufacturers until core 2 duo officially launches. My guess is it's NOT VRM 11 ready given it was a revision 00/AA board and CPU volts is 1.275-1.600v (I think it needs to be lower?).
