Does the Creative CT-5880 on-board sound chip support EAX?

I've been trying to find info on this chip, since I just ordered a Gigabyte 7DXR board with it. I really don't care for integrated sound, and already ordered an OEM SBLive to put in it. But now I'm thinking...I know it supports 4 channels, but does it support EAX and is it hardware or software accelerated? If it does, I may give my Live to my brother to save a PCI slot.

I have the exact same mobo.
This CT5880 is hardware sound, no doubt about it, actually you can see the chip on the mobo. It does support 4 speakers, in this case the line in is used as the second stereo output.

But for the EAX support I think it doesn't, at least with the drivers I have. I've checked out the creative web site with no succes, seems that this 5880 chip doesn't exist. In win98se it's detected as a SoundBlaster PCI128.

If anyone knows a place to find more info about this chip it would be great.
