Does the Comic Book Guy (Simpsons) remind you of Russ?

Damn, the smartass comments the Comic Book Guy dishes out sounds a lot like the things that Russ says.

I could imagine a bunch of kids walking into Compucheap and Russ kicking them out, calling them "Infant intellects," and stuff like that. LOL

I wonder if the Comic Book guy is ultraconservative....

No, but a semi-related story:

I was sitting in the movie theater waiting for Hannibal to start. This fat, balding guy with a pony tail starts walking up the aisle, and I think to myself, "jeez...this guy looks exactly like Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons." I kind of snickered to myself. Then CBG in the Flesh recognizes the guy sitting down the row from me. He shouts out (I swear to god), "Dude! You've still got my comic book!" I couldn't help it. I burst out laughing. Everyone in the theater was staring at me like I was some sort of lunatic. My gf was so embarrassed, but when I told her why I was cracking up, she took one look at the guy and started laughing even louder than I was. Once again, the whole theater stared at us.

LOL, I swear the guy who works in the comic book shop I used to go to occassionally (I was an MTG freak awhile back) looked and sounded just like the comic book guy, and he was proud of it. A couple of us bought him the

How does Russ look like the comic guy? The guy is the one whose beer gut hangs out from under his C DOS RUN shirt, right? Russ is skinny as a stringbean.

As an aside, everytime I see Russ' name, I think of the &quot;Vacation&quot; movies.
