Does the brand/type of LVD terminator matter?

Putting together a SCSI box and have one LVD UWSCSI drive (Cheetah X15-36LP) on the chain.

The stock LVD cable that came with the motherboard (Tyan S2567) already has a generic LVD terminator on it (Brand EDA INC., CHUNG YOU, UL94VO 0029, P/N 1901074, Rev.2)

I am going to buy a new LVD cable from Granite Digital, but they want to charge me $59.00 for an LVD terminator. I want the high-quality cable, but do I need a $59.00 terminator? Can I just use the 'stock' one I already have? If not, will a $39.00 terminator from HyperMicro suffice?

If the stock one works, don't waste your $$$ on the Grante. The Granite Digital stuff are great but not for the $$$ they're charging.
